Things are pretty uneventful at this point. Nothing exciting except a little pouch is beginning to form. Ken bought me some maternity shirts today since my others are a little too short to cover the elastic panel on my maternity jeans. I'll have to take a pic of the belly so we can see a progression as it gets bigger. Right now, I just feel like it's fat. :)
Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.
Yes - we want belly pics :) It's not "fat" you're pregnant! But, I understand. I hated that phase where you don't really look pregnant yet... just look like you've gained weight. I wanted to tell everyone that saw me that I wasn't just fat... I was pregnant. I actually had a shirt that said "I'm not fat, I'm knocked up" :) Love you!!
