You end up with two messed up rings. UGH. I thought I should be able to wear my wedding rings by now, so, I put my engagement ring on. It went on kinda okay. I decided to try my wedding band. That took a little more work, but got it on. I figured since I got the smaller one on, I could put the engagement ring on with it. After getting both of them on with a little struggle, I felt like they were a little too tight. I decided to take them off. But, when I did, they did not want to budge. My finger started to swell the more I pulled. I tried olive oil, soap, holding my hand above my head with ice and then using Windex. Nothing worked. My parents arrived and I showed them my good work. My dad worked at it and was able to get my engagement ring to my knuckle, but, it hurt too bad to try and get it over.
I decided to let Jared (the jewelry store) cut them off. I was really hoping not to have to resort to that, but, the more we messed with it, the more swollen my finger got. I am now the proud owner of two rings with giant gaps in them. They said to wait a couple of weeks and bring them back to be sized. Why, oh why, did I have to force them on. I feel dumb.

You forced them on b/c you weren't able to wear them while you were pregnant of course!! I was excited to put mine on as well.. it felt like a whole new ring :) I had to wear my Grandmother's engagement ring while I was preggo! So sorry that happened to you! Your fingers will be back to normal really soon!
