My shower was on Friday night. I had such a good time. Amanda did a great job and put so much time and energy into this for me. I was just amazed. There was tons of food, games and presents, of course. I have the sweetest friends and got some really cute and much needed items. My friend Carrie had already sent a TON of clothes. All of our sweet friends have really helped us prepare for this little guy.
On Saturday, I was really motivated to get things done. We went shopping at Target and Babies R Us and got most of the remaining essentials. We came home and I washed all the new clothes and put them away, washed all of the bedding, ironed and put together the stuff I could. I just have a few more items to get and then a couple shelves/drawers to help keep things organized. I feel quite accomplished, however my feet did not appreciate all the work between standing most of the day on Friday and then on my feet again all day Saturday. Hopefully with some more water and feet up the swelling will go down.
I'm starting my weekly appointments, so now it really feels like he will be here soon!!!!
